This home was designed and built by architect Daniel Friedrich of DF Design.
The aim was to build his home to meet Passive House standards. With this in mind he needed, thermally efficient, airtight joinery that would be in keeping with the style of the house. The combination of Low E glazing and Cedar IV68 joinery helped to achieve this.
Large sliding doors in the Dining area and raking windows to the gables are features of this remarkable house.
