Durability

Naturally durable timbers are naturally durable.

To be suitable for windows and doors in New Zealand, a material must be able to resist and withstand the sometimes-hostile environments it may encounter. It should be able to do this without protection if need be. It should maintain its integrity and stability in dry alpine climates with huge temperature fluctuations and in humid coastal climates with abrasive salt air.

Naturally durable timbers do just this.
